The National Business Model Competition is aimed at encouraging aspiring entrepreneurs and stimulating job creation and economic growth in Jamaica. To take part in the competition and be eligible for prizes, participants must demonstrate a genuine commitment to the launch of their proposed business.

ABOUT CREATOR / VENDOR:

Since 2013, the Jamaica Venture Capital Programme (JVCapital) has been hosting the annual National Business Model Competition (NBMC), in collaboration with its partner, the Private Sector Organisation of Jamaica (PSOJ). This initiative is supported by the Development Bank of Jamaica (DBJ) and encourages student entrepreneurship on the campuses of local universities.
