The Jamaica Stock Exchange has been recognized as the best performing stock market ( 2015 & 2018 ) in the world which suggests that the company has the leadership, capability, and track record of creating and growing capital markets.
The Jamaica Social Stock Exchange is providing a platform to link social and economic development by creating a social capital exchange where funds can be mobilized from the private sector to projects being implement by social organizations in phase one and to social organizations in phase one and to social businesses in phase two. The JSSE will become a state-of-the-art, virtual environment connecting socially responsible investors and social impact projects from organizations operating in the social sector.
Investments will be made in an atmosphere of trust and confidence reposed in the JSE brand, in this new Social Capital Exchange. The Jamaica Social Stock Exchange will operate two markets implemented in two phases.
